Product Review

I recently became a brand ambassador for Follain, and I’m so excited to share my review of their essentials kit! Follain is a clean beauty retailer that creates their own products, and curates high-performing, 100% non-toxic products. They believe that you should not compromise your health for beauty. All of Follain’s products go through a 5 step approval process. Not to mention, the company restricts over 30 ingredients that are questionable or unsafe.

If you are interested in shopping clean for skincare, I have a discount code that will give you 15% off your first purchase! Before I tell you how, let me share my experience trying these products for the first time. Here is everything I received in the essentials kit:

Ursa Major, 4-in-1 Essential Face Wipes

$24

The essentials kit comes with one face wipe. These wipes are a great multitasker. They work to clean, exfoliate, soothe, and hydrate the skin. Some lovely ingredients include aloe juice, witch hazel, lemon peel extract, willow bark extract, green tea extract, and birch sap. These wipes smell very clean, and somewhat minty.

They are saturated in a tonic and glide across the face. All skin types can benefit from wipes like these. I really like using them after a long day when my face feels oily, or to remove makeup. It’s $24 for a bag of 20 which leaves me craving a little more, because they feel so luxurious! Check these out if you get a chance.

Osea, Ocean Cleanser

$18-$48

The vegan Osea cleanser is like a day at the beach. It smells very tropical and fruity, but in a very natural way. The ingredients include algae extract, sesame seed oil, jojoba oil, vitamin E, orange oil, jasmine oil, and more. All of these oils allow the cleanser to be very gentle on the skin.

The texture is creamy, similar to that of a lotion. While I did not notice any drastic changes in my skin after using this, I found that it cleansed my skin in a simple way. Often times we use harsh products, so I think having a simple cleanser mixed into your routine can really save you. This cleanser would work nicely for any skin type. Definitely give it a try if you’re looking for simplicity.

Indie Lee, COQ-10 Toner

skin quench

$10-$34

I’ve been dying to try this cult favorite toner by Indie Lee. The COQ-10 stands for a coenzyme that’s in the formula. It’s a naturally occurring antioxidant that helps boost collagen and neutralize free radicals that contribute to aging. Other ingredients are aloe, hyaluronic acid, chamomile, sage, papaya leaf extract, cucumber extract, and more.

The toner had a clean, almost sterile scent, but I didn’t mind it. It gave me that third cleanse feeling I look for in toners, yet it was very hydrating. A toner like this is great for all skin types because it helps balance the pH levels. I will say it has a strong spray nozzle, so be careful not to get any in your eyes. The price range is on point for a product of this quality. The sample size was rather small so I only got a few uses out of it, but I would definitely try this in a full size.

Ursa Major, Golden Hour Recovery Cream

$48

This buttery cream might’ve been my favorite product from the kit! It smells so natural and earthy, which you all know I love. The ingredients are loaded with wholesome stuff like meadowfoam seed oil, neroli oil, calendula extract, aloe juice, sea buckthorn extract, and so much more.

Like I said, the texture is very rich and coats the skin in moisture. At the same time, it does not feel heavy or sticky. I found this cream to be soothing and nourishing, kind of like rehab for the skin after a long day. I’m definitely going to purchase a full size of this in the future. It’s a bit pricey for 1.7 oz. but a little goes a long way and it’s just too good to pass up.

Follain, Everything Soap

skin quench

$7-$24

This diverse soap is Follain’s very own. It’s become my favorite soap! The one I received is made with coconut oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, vegetable glycerin, guar gum extract, rosemary extract, aloe vera gel, and lemongrass. It’s always nice to see a short ingredient list! The citrus really comes through, and provides incredible aromatherapy.

The texture is like a watery gel. I loved this soap because it’s cleansing and all the oils keep your skin from feeling stripped and dry. There is a mild lather and it’s very hydrating. This soap can be used for many purposes too! Try washing your body, delicates, or even your furry friend. It’s gentle, safe, and non-toxic. The full size bottles are refillable when you go back into the store as well. While the price range might be a little high, I think this soap is worth the experience.

You can purchase the full sizes of these items, but if you just want to test them out, you can purchase this same essentials kit too for $25. Get 15% off your first purchase with my discount code: ref15_472um7. This code can be used online and in stores. If you’re shopping online, just apply the code at checkout.

Once you try these products, I promise you’ll be hooked. Get your hands on clean beauty without compromise; tried, tested, and truthful.
