Moisturizing is step 9 of your skincare routine during the day time, but your last step at night.

The essence step is really what makes a Korean Skincare routine. Essence has recently popped up in western skincare conversations, so it might be hard for some to comprehend exactly what it is. Essences are not as thin as toners, but they’re not as thick as serums either.
