good (skin) days Are Here

Skin Quench wouldn’t exist without Soko Glam. They’re the most prominent curation website for innovative, top-notch Korean Skincare. With collaborations to create skincare products along the way, I imagined how great it would be if they would create their own product line one day. Well that day has come– good (skin) days are here!

And Then, I Met You Again

The Skin Balancing Duo is the next two steps of the classic Korean Skincare Routine–toner and essence. I’ve been trying them out since the New Year, as it was a Christmas gift from Mr. SQ, so I’ve got some tea to spill skinthusiasts! Let’s imbibe, shall we?

2019 Skincare Favorites

While 2019 put me through a lot of highs and lows, I got to try so many new skincare products. I even discovered some REVOLUTIONARY products that changed the game along the way! So FINALLY, here are my favorite products in all skincare categories from 2019. I hope you enjoy!

I Krave You

The time has come! I’ve been eager to try Krave Beauty since founder Liah Yoo first launched the company. Yoo is one of my OG Korean Skincare Gurus that taught me a lot of what I know.

ACWELL

I’ve tried a few ACWELL products–via Soko Glam–over the past couple of years, so I feel more than ready to review some of their products! ACWELL is Korean Skincare brand, that keeps sensitive skin in mind, and works to improve it while preventing any future issues, at a neutral pH of 5.5.

Slick as: Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is fast absorbing and deeply penetrates the skin barrier to soften and nourish. It’s loaded with fatty acids, vitamin B and E, and antioxidants. Benefits include anti-aging, anti-acne, and antimicrobial properties.

Acne: Papules

If you thought pustules were bad, wait until you meet their evil twin–papules. Papules are very similar to pustules, when it comes to inflammation and redness.

Slick as: Coconut Oil

Welcome to my brand new series that focuses on facial oils! Let’s kick it off with a fan favorite–coconut oil!

Korean Skincare: Jade Rollers

Facial jade rollers exploded across the Western world this past year, but a lot of people don’t really know what they do or how to use them! While these fancy rollers may be new over here, they’ve been around for ages on the other side of the world. In fact, the significance of jade dates back centuries ago.

All Eyes On: Clay Masks

Clay masks work to detoxify the skin, because they have a natural ability to tighten and pull. They extract impurities from both the surface, and just underneath the skin. These impurities include excess oils, dead skin cells, and all the grossness that clogs your pores.
