2019 Skincare Favorites

While 2019 put me through a lot of highs and lows, I got to try so many new skincare products. I even discovered some REVOLUTIONARY products that changed the game along the way! So FINALLY, here are my favorite products in all skincare categories from 2019. I hope you enjoy!

DECEIM’s The Ordinary

DECEIM is known as “The Abnormal Beauty Company.” They umbrella multiple brands, including The Ordinary. The Ordinary is so popular and unique because their packaging is simple and minimalistic (I love the dropper bottles!), they only use key ingredients that are needed, and they are ridiculously affordable.

Acne: Pustules

Oh pustules, how I loathe thee! They are categorized as inflammatory pimples. A pustule occurs when the bacteria from the dead skin cells and oils in your pores attract other strains of bacteria.

Korean Skincare: Step 6. Serums and Ampoules

The serum and ampoule stage is a place where you get to cocktail your routine, and target specific concerns. Whether you’re looking for a boost in hydration, preventing or improving wrinkles, or fading hyperpigmentation, there is a serum out there for you.

Acne: Whiteheads

Whiteheads are one of the most common types of pimples. They are categorized as non-inflammatory comedones. This just means that they are clogged hair follicles, and the surrounding skin is not raised or red.

Korean Skincare: Step 3. Exfoliate

Exfoliating is one of the most important steps in your 10-step Korean Skincare routine. Not only does exfoliating remove dead skin cells, but it also preps the skin to better absorb the following products.
