And Then, I Met You Again

The Skin Balancing Duo is the next two steps of the classic Korean Skincare Routine–toner and essence. I’ve been trying them out since the New Year, as it was a Christmas gift from Mr. SQ, so I’ve got some tea to spill skinthusiasts! Let’s imbibe, shall we?

I Krave You

The time has come! I’ve been eager to try Krave Beauty since founder Liah Yoo first launched the company. Yoo is one of my OG Korean Skincare Gurus that taught me a lot of what I know.

ACWELL

I’ve tried a few ACWELL products–via Soko Glam–over the past couple of years, so I feel more than ready to review some of their products! ACWELL is Korean Skincare brand, that keeps sensitive skin in mind, and works to improve it while preventing any future issues, at a neutral pH of 5.5.

Woodlot Vibes

Today’s new discovery is Woodlot. Woodlot is a Canadian brand that focuses on “natural home and body basics.” I was eager to try their skincare line because they work to make skincare and beauty less of a luxury, and more of a wellness ritual–right on brand for me!

Acne: Whiteheads

Whiteheads are one of the most common types of pimples. They are categorized as non-inflammatory comedones. This just means that they are clogged hair follicles, and the surrounding skin is not raised or red.

Nature Goddess Skincare

Nature Goddess Skincare is a gem that I came across on Instagram. This brand is focused on creating quality products with nature-based ingredients. All their products are cruelty-free and hand made in small batches.

All Eyes on: Rice

Rice, rice baby! This week I want to give all my love to rice as a skincare ingredient. Many East Asian countries are known for using fermented rice water for centuries. It’s an ingredient that is bountiful and simple to use.

Korean Skincare: Step 4. Tone

Toning is a step in skincare that people often ignore, but it does have a purpose. A good toner will balance your pH level after you double cleanse, and clean your skin even further. You’d be surprised at the dirt that might come off, even after a double cleanse.
