good (skin) days Are Here

Skin Quench wouldn’t exist without Soko Glam. They’re the most prominent curation website for innovative, top-notch Korean Skincare. With collaborations to create skincare products along the way, I imagined how great it would be if they would create their own product line one day. Well that day has come– good (skin) days are here!

Look Babes, It’s Frank!

Frank Body was one of the first popular brands that flooded my feed when I popped up on the skincare scene. The brand offers natural, non-toxic and cruelty free skincare made fun. These babes are based out of Australia

And Then, I Met You Again

The Skin Balancing Duo is the next two steps of the classic Korean Skincare Routine–toner and essence. I’ve been trying them out since the New Year, as it was a Christmas gift from Mr. SQ, so I’ve got some tea to spill skinthusiasts! Let’s imbibe, shall we?

Korean Skincare: Step 5. Essence

The essence step is really what makes a Korean Skincare routine. Essence has recently popped up in western skincare conversations, so it might be hard for some to comprehend exactly what it is. Essences are not as thin as toners, but they’re not as thick as serums either.

And Then, I Met You

I have been dying to share this product review with everyone! One amazing thing to come out of 2018 was the Then I Met You skincare line by Charlotte Cho. Charlotte Cho is a licensed esthetician.

Korean Skincare: Step 4. Tone

Toning is a step in skincare that people often ignore, but it does have a purpose. A good toner will balance your pH level after you double cleanse, and clean your skin even further. You’d be surprised at the dirt that might come off, even after a double cleanse.

Neogen x Joan Kim, Vita Duo Cream

I couldn’t think of a better product review to start the year with, than this moisturizing Vita Duo Cream. This moisturizer is a collaboration by Neogen and Joan Kim! If you don’t know who Joan Kim is, can you really call yourself a skinthusiast?

Best 18 of 2018

Some amazing products came out this year, and some old classics held their spot in my rotation. It was tough to choose, but I present to you my 18 favorite products of 2018. These products are effective and have truly made a difference in my skin:

Korean Skincare: Step 2. Water Cleanser

So, you’ve completed your first step, the oil cleanse, but your skin doesn’t feel quite clean. That’s where your water cleanser comes in! The water cleanse is the second part of the double cleanse.

Caudalíe + Farmacy Essence Mists

Essence mists have become very popular in the past year. Maybe it’s because more are being produced, or maybe it’s for the convenience factor. Regardless, I’ve fallen in love with the concept. It’s my favorite part of my skincare routine.
